Nintendo’s most successful product launch
When TED Experience began working with Nintendo to launch Nintendo Switch, we set out to create a product launch that evoked meaningful conversations and product trial experiences of the new console with families around the UK. This encompassed a series of National television adverts created and produced by the agency, with a touring roadshow in shopping malls. It was our role to showcase new games as and when they were released, driving content for the community and beyond, to connect with new audiences.
During a 24-month touring brand experience road show, we utilised a modular stand, visiting all major towns and cities throughout the UK, showcasing the product to people visiting malls and gaming events. Our approach to Nintendo’s brand experience through the stand combined visual iconographic homage to the product to attract passing crowds, with a functional build and a tailored consumer experience, to deliver results on time and on budget.
With the help of our highly trained staff, selected and managed by Ted, we were able to achieve an evolving brand experience for customers on the stand throughout the year, leading people to purchase the product.
